Whispers of Spirit Article Submissions Welcomed!

We welcome YOUR article, channeling, book review, or whatever you feel inspired to write!

Whispers of Spirit includes regular columns by local Minneapolis-St Paul healers, lightworkers, practitioners, artists, as well as national and international contributors. The topics we cover are anything that is heart-centered, holistic, spiritual, transformational, or metaphysical. We welcome your submissions for articles at any time, and if we don't have room in the publication can include them as as "online exclusive" article. Let us know if you have questions!

General Guidelines

Whispers of Spirit is a quarterly publication in print and online, and includes articles and information by healers, lightworkers, practitioners, artists, and writers. The topics covered are heart-centered, holistic, spiritual, transformational, or metaphysical. We ask that articles be empowering, uplifting, and positive in tone. Topics that are disrespectful to any individuals or groups, endorse specific products, people, stores, or healing centers, or are generally negative or fear-based in tone will not be considered. We do not pay for articles.

EXCLUSIVE ARTICLES

We prefer to print articles that have not been previously published in other local publications. (Including it on your own website is fine, however.) We try to include all submissions, but give priority to local authors who have not published the article in other media and to international authors who's articles are not typically seen locally.

All articles must include a shoft bio, photo if you have one, and contact information. We will not print without it (and people wouldn’t know who you are!).

As a contributor to our publication, you are aligning with the intent of Whispers of Spirit. This means we will mutually support each other’s businesses and lives with love. Advertisers and writers are asked to help distribute the print publication, when applicable, to holistic and metaphysical businesses, offices, expo’s and events, etc, as it is getting your name out there also. A link to our website on your website is also appreciated. An equal exchange of energy aligns us all with more than we can ever imagine!

We reserve the right to edit as needed for space. We reserve the right to decline article submissions with no explanation.

Length

The word count on articles should be 500 - 1000 words, and some articles may be edited for space. We do not guarantee that your article will be included, but we try our best to include everyone’s voice. If your article does not fit due to space we will possibly put it on our website.

Method of Submission

Articles must be submitted by email to light@whispersofspirit.com or by using the form below. Please include the text of the article in the email or send it as a Microsoft Word or Publisher attachment to the email. As a last resort, we will accept articles on a CD or disk, in PC-compatible format only. We don’t accept hand-written articles.
